"This is a common drive for me which I used to do monthly but haven't as often recently.  Safety is #1 on this trip.  It is never compromised to get to the destination faster.  Arrival times are NEVER guaranteed.  Departure time may change by up to 30 minutes.  If you're on a tight schedule, please take a plane (although last time I did that it took nearly 24 hours!).  That all said, you'll see in my reviews people have generally found I make good time.

This is a remote road.  There is no cell coverage on some of it.  You should bring water, and I'd even say a few snacks and warm clothes.  There have been times when an accident or something similar has caused a multiple-hour closure of this highway. 

This is a Modo car since I went car-free last year :).

I expect we'll make a stop to charge the car and our bellies in Hope, and possibly have another short fast charge stop somewhere else.  The car has a >400 km range but we'll still do some charging to keep a reserve."
